We did a 4 hour conference in the city of Montreal for the Association Québécoise des Amateurs de Parroquets...
Lots of information on our way of seeing things, the permit from the Ministry of Wildlife, pet therapy, how to live daily with our parrots, their diet, etc.

For the second time, we participated in the exotic animal fair in Saguenay.
A more elaborate decor than the first time was mounted throughout the night before the event by the 2 owners only. The big star of the show who was on the promotional posters: Roxanne (toucan swainson, 19 years old).

quebec exotic animal fair

For the first time in Quebec, we participated in the exotic animal fair at the Peps of Laval University. During a full day and part of the night, we created our most beautiful decor ever. The collaboration with the Serres Bégin, we have greatly helped to achieve a tropical paradise. Real vegetation, a wooden boat, a superb VIP area amazed young and old alike.

Several activities organized by Perroquet Pirate for the event:
- Parrot kiosk with free handling offered by Maizerets.
- Makeup with painter: Stéphanie Fiset
- Mr. Reptile (invited by us)
- Captain Jack Sparrow (guest by us)
- Troupe of New France (invited by us)
- Huge treasure hunt throughout the park which was ULTRA popular.

parrot kiosk

Nearly 50,000 people during the summer (counter in hand)
Throughout the summer period, we ran a Parrot Kiosk in the former butterfly aviary of the Domaine Maizerets. Admission was free to the delight of the population and tourists. Under a magnificent tropical decor with a totem, real palm trees, flowers, water fountains, etc.
The decor was largely created by Perroquet Pirate and the Serres Bégin and thus the Maizerets domain.
We had to self-finance everything through the sale of photos and VIPs.
Some private groups were also taken before opening hours (CPE, camps, etc.)
Several animators and volunteers participated in the realization of this success!
The kiosk unfortunately did not renew the experience due to the demolition of the structure of the aviary which was too dangerous.

100th anniversary of the limoilou credit union

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Caisse Populaire de Limoilou, we decorated the Lacroix chalet for the occasion. The manipulation was therefore free all day for the occasion under the supervision of our animators.

For the second year in a row, we went to Rimouski-Est for the neighborhood party. All the people on site were able to handle the parrots under the supervision of our animators all day.
Parroquet Pirate even improvised a treasure hunt on site at its own expense for the enjoyment of the population with a multitude of surprise gifts.

The event took place in the Fleur de Lys shopping center. Customers had free access to the mall, but each exhibitor set its own prices and rules.
